Prof. Dr. med. Henry Schulz studied sports science and human medicine in Cologne. Since 2006 he has been head of the professorship for sports medicine at Chemnitz University of Technology. His work focuses on the physiology of muscle metabolism, the therapeutic influences of physical activity on chronic diseases and mental health.
